Advocacy Day
Each spring, the Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance (MiCHWA) hosts Advocacy Day in Lansing, MI—a pivotal event for advancing our mission. This dynamic in-person gathering brings together Community Health Workers (CHWs), allies, and employers from across Michigan to engage directly with state legislators.
Advocacy Day offers a unique platform for attendees to discuss the critical role of CHWs and the impact they have on community health. Participants will have the chance to meet with their local representatives, share firsthand experiences, and advocate for policies that support the essential work of CHWs.
